Croeso / Welcome to our New Website

Why a new website? Our previous website, which ran on outdated software since 2012, could no longer be kept secure or usable. Rather than patch it up, the branch took the decision at the 2026 Annual General Meeting to start afresh with a modern, secure site.

Why a new website?

Our previous website, which ran on outdated software since 2012, could no longer be kept secure or usable. Rather than patch it up, the branch took the decision at the 2026 Annual General Meeting to start afresh with a modern, secure site.

It was decided that Luke Edwards Web Development, Carmarthen be appointed to undertake the project.

What’s new?

  • A searchable Photo Album: Type a name or place and the photos filter instantly; click any photo to view it full-size and browse through the set.
  • Newsletters at your fingertips: Organised by year, readable on any device.
  • A searchable Obituaries page: Find an entry by name in seconds.
  • Cymraeg ar gael: The entire site can be switched to Welsh with the floating language button.
  • Built for phones: The entire website works on a mobile screen.

Members Only

N.B. Due to Data Protection and Copyright issues, access to Photo Album section of the website can ONLY be gained by inputting your email address & Password which will be circulated to members by email.

Please remember as a member of NARPO this is your website – feel free to forward photographs and articles for inclusion. Feedback and suggestions would also be appreciated.

Finally, very many thanks on behalf of the Executive Committee to Luke and his team for their hard work designing the website.
